Kate Rericha

Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a minor emphasis in English, Ms. Rericha has pursued diverse studies in the arts, culture, health care and community development in Illinois, Colorado, Wisconsin and Portugal. Ms. Rericha's community involvement, service on boards and event planning for the public have led to HELP of Door County's Outstand Service Award and Door County Chamber of Commerce's Pride in Place Award.

Her primary intrigue has been with public service organizations and how to work within their framework to provide those organizations with successful planning for organizational growth and sustainability. She has taught in public and private schools, Northeast Wisconsin Techical College, health care facilities for the elderly and on CESA #7's ITSF television network. Kate served for four years as the grant administrator for the Peninsula Arts Association's re-granting program, which distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in competitive grants to support local arts. She now serves as secretary on the board of directors of Arts Wisconsin, Madison, and is Marketing Director and Grant Writer for Birch Creek Music Performance Center, Egg Harbor. Through service on non-profit boards, Kate is familiar with the approach nonprofit agencies must take to funding.

Ms. Rericha works for varying initiatives. She served as a panel member addressing the technology plan factor of the Universal Services Fund (E-Rate) at the request of then United States Congressman Jay Johnson (D-WI) at St. Norbert College in 1998. She has served as a grant reader for various local and state funding agencies. At Home Page clients can be seen via her portfolio.
